LA Spas Australia

L.A. Spas were distributed through various dealerships across Australia until approximately 2014, when LA Spas was bought out by Maax Spas. Unfortunately, a number of these dealerships went into receivership, ceased operations, or transitioned to other brands.

As a result, many customers were left without access to ongoing support and spare parts. It is important to note that Australian models often differed significantly from their American counterparts due to required modifications and compliance with local regulations.

Regrettably, some L.A. Spas were sold without the necessary Australian electrical approvals, which further complicated matters for many customers.

Maax Spas no longer uses the LA Spas brand, and have merged with American Bath Group.  The original L.A. Spas trademark was cancelled in 2016.  Read more about Maax Spas Australia here. Spa Industries Global has applied for "LA Spas" (not "L.A. Spas") as a new trademark.

Most LA Spas branded parts that were left in Australia have been subsequently purchased by several spa dealers and suppliers such as Spatex, Spa-Craft, and Heater & Spa Parts.
